SYNOPSIS
This is a film about changes, extreme changes of modern life.
The film presents a Polyphonic Structure. on one side, a line shows the changes of people: 3 boys Xiner, Xiuer and Shasha, on their way of becoming girl, some succeed and some failed, and even those who succeeded are facing new difficult and arduous. On the other side, the city itself is coming through great changes, too. Those changes are accompanied by, even destruction and violence, but maybe just for no more than a good-looking.
Director Biography
<p>Wang Yiren, a native of Changchun, Jilin, was born in 1974. He graduated from Jilin University in 1998 and worked at the Jilin Province New Culture Newspaper. From 2001 to 2003, he had a column in the New Culture Newspaper, writing over a hundred film reviews. In 2002, he participated in the creation of the "Changchun Film Group." From March 2004 to July 2005, he filmed the documentary "Metamorphosis." From August 2005 to August 2006, he filmed the documentary "Utopia."</p>
