SYNOPSIS
Exploring how, during the pandemic, gay men reclaimed a spot once popular as a place to escape the glare of Taipei city and explored each other’s bodies in the night.
Director Biography
Starr Wu worked at Chang Tso Chi Film Studio for more than 10 years as a producer, sound recorder, training actors, other pre-production preparatory work and as an assistant to director Chang Tso Chi. He has written several screenplays and won many awards in Taiwan for these. He has directed many short films including “Marry Me” and “Steam” about gay life in Taipei. His first feature film “The Story of the Stone” from 2018 was released in cinemas in Taiwan and abroad and has been screened at many international film festivals, including Sao Paulo International Film Festival.
