SYNOPSIS
Izaro and Clara, both 17, work as instructors at a children’s summer camp. On a hot summer’s day, Clara gives her friend Izaro a passionate kiss. Izaro, filled with desire, feels confused as she tries to process what has happened to her and is willing to follow wherever Clara wants to take her.
Director Biography
She has written and directed several documentaries that have been presented at festivals such as SEMINCI, Gijón, ZINEBI or the San Sebastian International Film Festival. She is a collaborator of the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola and in 2020 she was president of the Jury of the Irizar Basque Film Award. She has just won the awards for Best Screenplay at the San Sebastian Festival and at the ZINEBI Festival in Bilbao for Kuartk Valley and the short film Kinka, respectively.

Irrits is something yet to come. But it is already burning under my feet, the nearness of you. An invisible thread that pulls my body towards yours. It insists. And resists. Is how to manage what happens to me when your presence is everywhere. Is how to sustain the uncertainty. Here, together.
