SYNOPSIS
On the warmest day of the year, two boys meet. A few hours later a pigeon gets trapped with them. During this heatwave, all creatures dream of escaping from the city that’s burning.
Director Biography
Born in Chania, Greece, Stavros Markoulakis is a writer, director and film programmer. He is a Locarno Industry Academy & Sarajevo Talents Alumnus and has worked in various positions in the Programme and Industry departments of film festivals such as IFFR, IDFA, Thessaloniki FF, Leiden Shorts etc. His films are balancing between the real and the imaginary and have been presented in film festivals around the world like Sarajevo FF, Clermont-Ferrand, Palm Springs SF etc.
