SYNOPSIS
David is the first GAY+HIV+ person to appear on CCTV. What kind of person is he? Why does he want to expose himself in public? How does this exposure affect his daily life? How does his coming out affect society? This film will answer these questions.

擁有跨界的身分：作家，獨立影人，文化學者，策展人，同志權利和獨立電影倡導人和實踐者。北京酷兒影展創辦者之一。 先期影像作品有《舊約》《丑角登場》《哎呀呀，去哺乳》《少年花草黃》《我如花似玉的兒子》《誌同志》，近期小說作品有《公廁電影院全年無休》（日場卷，夜場卷）《有人讚美聰慧，有人則不》。作品曾被授予多項國際獎項。 他以鮮明的酷兒立場，探討性別與身份議題，持續挑戰主流敘事結構與社會規範，奠基並不斷推動華語酷兒文化的形成與發展。他的行動和作品，具有深遠的影響力。
Director's Statement
I consider myself to be the first gay person to come out on Chinese TV. In this way I was affecting society by making it more open, yet I also felt pressure from society’s conservatism. My teaching, writing and publishing were restricted. David has since come out. He is very young, and is HIV+. Unlike me, he has no job, nor has he status as intellectual or artist. He also has no support from the international media. What is the price he will pay for coming out? Does he have the power to cope with this price? Will he regret his decision? Will he fall in to despair? Will he commit suicide? Will he be destroyed? Or will he gain instant fame? Will he consider himself a representative for all gays with HIV? What will he say? How will the government or related NGOs treat him? Will they be supportive of him, or will they oppose him? Will they abandon him? These are the questions we seek to answer; thus my partners and I have started to shoot this documentary, despite not yet having any financial support.
